Courageous Leadership for a Demanding World
An exclusive workshop for Alabama’s nonprofit leaders
Leadership is hard. Let’s do it together.
Many nonprofit leaders are exhausted. They are carrying enormous weight — not just from daily demands, but of navigating broken systems, resource constraints, and policies that too often make the work harder, not easier. Leading with integrity, courage, and compassion takes more than intention — it takes skill, practice, and support.
That’s what Dare to Lead™ is all about.
Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is a courage-building program that helps leaders build the resilience and clarity needed to stay grounded in their values while doing the hard stuff: initiating difficult conversations, making the best decision even when it’s unpopular, and choosing what is right over what is easy.
This October, Dr. Julie McDonald, a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator trained by Brené Brown, is partnering with Danielle Dunbar and the Alabama Association of Nonprofits (AAN) to offer this transformative experience exclusively for nonprofit leaders in Alabama.
You’ll join a group of peers equally committed to leading with more clarity, connection, and courage, all in a space designed for learning, reflection, and growth.
